2018 Excellence in Irrigation honorees announced

The awards were presented at the American Society of Irrigation Consultants National Conference.

The 2018 Excellence in Irrigation honorees were presented with awards at the American Society of Irrigation Consultants (ASIC) National Conference in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. A total of six projects were identified as deserving special acknowledgment as examples of unique or outstanding irrigation design challenges and solutions.

The submittals were judged by a panel comprised of an academic team from Cal Poly Pomona and Kansas State University and peer review.

Honor Awards are given as outstanding examples of unique problem solving and forward-thinking
water resource management solutions.

Merit Awards are given to projects that are worthy of recognition and represent solid and well
thought out solutions to irrigation and water resource management challenges.
