Include Software announced that the app is now available for Android users after requests from landscape business owners operating Android devices. The app will be available for download in the Google Play store.
“Our users asked and we answered this very specific request,” says Include Software vice president Nanette Seven. “We have a lot of iCREWtek users who have both Apple and Android devices that are being utilized by the same company. It was important to them that they be able to get the app on all of their devices. We are happy that they are able to do just that with this expansion of its availability.”
The company is always looking at ways they can improve the technology for their users. Seven says that effort has also included the addition of a new Crew Locations map, which provides a visual of where crews are located at any given time. Hovering over the crew display on the app will provide a task description and log-in information, including which team members are involved.
Seven says this gives users a view of all crews in a single glance, providing a “command center” type of feeling to the experience.
Going forward, the company will continue to look for ways to improve iCREWtek in order to respond to users’ needs.
“These are just some of the examples of the ways in which we listen to our customers’ needs,” Seven says. “We heard the request to make iCREWtek available for Android users and we followed through. We want the technology to be able to support our users in ways that they find most helpful and we’ll continue to listen to their needs in order to achieve that goal.”
