The Work Truck Show expands educational opportunities

Attendees can participate in both the Green Truck Summit and Fleet Technical Congress sessions in 2019.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — NTEA, the association for the work truck industry, plans to expand available educational opportunities for The Work Truck Show 2019. NTEA will now offer an option for registrants to attend Green Truck Summit and Fleet Technical Congress sessions. Both events are held concurrently at JW Marriott Indianapolis on Tuesday, March 5, from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Work Truck Show 2019 takes place March 5 – 8, 2019, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Educational sessions begin March 5, and the exhibition hall is open March 6 – 8.

Green Truck Summit is an alternative fuels and advanced technology conference. At the summit, industry leaders share developments and decisions about new work truck productivity and efficiency.

Introduced at The Work Truck Show 2018, Fleet Technical Congress gives fleet managers an opportunity to explore new technology solutions while gaining management insights from industry leaders. The session is for established fleet managers and those moving into more senior management roles.

Both events will run on the same schedule with their own opening comments and keynote speakers, followed by general sessions. Registrants can switch back and forth between the two, based on preferred topic areas. A combined reception will be offered after the last general sessions.

“This is an effort to improve the attendee experience by giving them the chance to customize their schedules and attend whichever sessions interest them the most,” said Doyle Sumrall, NTEA managing director. “With Fleet Technical Congress and Green Truck Summit sessions running concurrently in rooms literally right next to each other, it will be easy for participants to move between sessions and engage in networking opportunities.”

In addition to the full day of general sessions and reception on March 5, registration for Green Truck Summit and Fleet Technical Congress includes access to concurrent sessions on topics such as fleet productivity, risk mitigation and OEM chassis updates; all three days of Work Truck Show exhibits; Wednesday and Thursday lunch; and access to the Ride-and-Drive on Wednesday and Thursday.
