The UTV University returns this year with educational opportunities for dealers currently selling UTVs or interested in selling them.

Powersport professionals will host sessions on Wednesday starting at 9 a.m. The hosts will cover UTV sales techniques as well as tips on guiding customers through product selection. A general roundtable discussion will also take place.

The UTV University is free with trade show registration and will end with the Dealer “Kick-Off” Keynote at 1:30 p.m. and the Dealer Day Preview of the show floor beginning at 3 p.m.

A 35+ year veteran of the power-sports industry, Mark Mooney has managed dealerships, improved bottom lines and owned his own multi-line metric dealership. He has partnered with many major OEMs to provide dealership consultation and UTV sales training. Steve Shankin’s entrepreneurial spirit within the UTV segment led to him being named a 2016 Industry Leader by Powersports Business magazine. His North Carolina-based company manufactures UTV accessories and is a UTV design firm that works with several UTV OEMs. Shankin’s debut at UTV University in 2016 was met with such high regard that he has been invited back for a longer session in 2017.
