Richard Cohen Landscape announces its first graduating class of Richard Cohen University (RCU) on Friday, March 25. The ceremony was held at the company’s Orange County headquarters in Lake Forest, Calif. Nine crew leads completed intensive 10-week horticulture-based training course.
Guest presenters included:
- “Quality Counts” presented by Bill Arman, The Harvester Group
- “Effective/safe chemical usage” Ken Kelly, Crop Production Service
- “Irrigation components” Jamie Bayona, Ewing Irrigation
- “ Success with seasonal color” Sal Gonzalez, DM Express Color
Internal courses on botany, turf management, client relations, etc. were led by company Operations Manager Tim Aalbu and Supervisor Jorge Pacheco.
