SUGAR HILL, GA – Russell Landscape Group announced the opening of a new branch in Tampa, Florida. A partnership with FirstService Residential and the Federation of Kings Point Associations is set to begin on June 1st. William Dutton, general manager with Russell, will be leading the Tampa operation. Dutton is a 20-year veteran in the industry and has been a part of the Russell family for 6 years and counting.

Along with the new branch, the company has also promoted Ken Knight to CFO. Knight joined the company in 2016 as the financial controller.
“Having been our Financial Controller for the past three years, Ken is very familiar with the business and our corporate needs and reporting. Ken’s involvement and management of our financial systems and processes during this short time has been a direct correlation in the company’s 40% growth,” said CEO Teddy Russell.
Prior to joining Russell Landscape, Knight served as corporate controller and manager of financial planning and analysis for Key Property Services from 2014 to 2016. His responsibilities included supervising all accounting staff and oversite of the financials for five business entities. From 1999 to 2014, Knight was the VP of financial management for the Georgia Lottery Corporation where he was responsible for all corporate finance functions, including budgeting/forecasting, accounting, purchasing, treasury, banking, collections and compliance with federal and state tax requirements. He came to the Metro Atlanta area in 1998 working for Lowes Home Centers as the District Operations Specialist.
Russell Landscape was founded in 1987 by Dr. Bill Russell in Norcross, Georgia. The company is currently operating under second generation owner Teddy Russell.
