WACO, Texas – The Dwyer Group, one of the world’s largest franchising companies of trades service brands, announced the recent acquisition of a building in Waco to add 10,000 square feet of office space to its existing corporate headquarters.
The Dwyer Group will be expanding to provide additional accommodations for its rapidly growing personnel. The building, located at 524 W. Waco Drive, is in close proximity to the corporate headquarters and will be known as “The Outpost.”
“The new office building exemplifies our dedication to growth and continuous improvement,” said Dina Dwyer-Owens, chairwoman and CEO of The Dwyer Group. “We have experienced an increase in staff to support our seven franchise brands, and we are adding this building to enhance and expand our corporate headquarters.”
The Dwyer Group is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary and championing continuous business growth. Over the past five years, The Dwyer Group has increased its number of franchise locations by 27 percent across seven brands. Since launching Rainbow International in 1981, The Dwyer Group has grown over three decades to include Mr. Rooter, Aire Serv, Mr. Electric, Mr. Appliance, Glass Doctor and The Grounds Guys in that order.
“The decision to acquire additional office space shows our commitment to our employees,” said Debbie Wright-Hood, chief administrative officer for The Dwyer Group and renovation chief for the building. “Once completed, the new office building will serve our growing staff better.”
The Dwyer Group’s corporate headquarters currently houses 250 associates. The new 10,000-square-foot office building will accommodate the company’s accounting department and ZorWare, a subsidiary technology company of The Dwyer Group.
The Dwyer Group is making renovations to the space and plans to occupy the new building in early July.
