NORTH CANTON, Ohio — The landscaping business is booming for Rice’s Landscapes Redefined. As a result of that success, the company plans to exit its retail nursery business, the Canton Repository newspaper reported.
Plans are underway to expand the company’s core services by creating a landscape production center in the space that housed its retail store. The business no longer plans to offer retail or re-wholesale services in its Spring Garden Showroom.
Rice’s told the Canton Repository that refocusing on landscape maintenance will allow it to create a landscape production facility as well as a streamlined process for its teams. The company offers custom landscape designs, installation and ongoing maintenance through its estate landscape management, commercial grounds services and custom designed landscaping programs.
