WEST FARGO, N.D. – Bobcat Company debuted its pallet fork frame, which serves as an ideal solution for handling materials of all shapes and sizes. The Bobcat pallet fork frame has an integrated walk-through design for easier operator entry and exit to and from the loader cab. In addition, the new design provides compact equipment operators with good visibility for picking and placing materials.
The new frame is approved for use with all Bobcat skid-steer and compact track loaders, Toolcat utility work machines and the V519 VersaHANDLER telescopic tool carrier. Loader and Toolcat machine operators can easily connect and disconnect the pallet fork frame with the Bob-Tach attachment mounting system. For quicker changes, Bobcat machines with the Power Bob-Tach system can change the pallet frame without leaving the cab.
The new pallet fork frame design makes it easy to move bagged or palletized materials, and then switch to lifting bales. Customers can choose from three models to best match operator’s lifting needs:
• Standard-duty: 2,500-pound capacity
• Heavy-duty: 4,000-pound capacity
• Severe-duty: 5,500-pound capacity
A walk-through front frame provides comfortable entry and exit from the cab, while also enhancing operator safety. Plus, the Bobcat loader cab door easily clears the pallet fork for a smooth entry. In addition, an open-carriage design provides better visibility to the pallet fork tines when picking and placing materials.
With the pallet fork guards, the machine includes reinforced brick-guard to help protect and secure the load while in use. A center guard is available on all three pallet fork frame models. Additionally, an optional reinforced brick-guard height extension is available for severe-duty pallet fork frames for better strength and endurance.
The attachment features multiple tine options – pallet forks come available in 42-inch and 48-inch lengths, and bale forks are available in the 40.8-inch length.
