JCB 1CX backhoe loader
The pitch: JCB upgraded its 1CX product, the smallest member of its backhoe loader family, with a new appearance, longer loader arms and a power management system.
- The 1CX has been updated with a revised cab roof trim, improved working lights and sturdy electrical switchgear.
- The new optional loader arms are 4 in. longer to provide easier loading of site dump trucks.
- At the rear, an extending dipper option adds up to 20 in. to the digging envelope, taking maximum dig depth to 10 ft.

The pitch: Curtis Industries has introduced another new cab system for the Massey Ferguson line of compact tractors.
- The new WorkPro cab system for the 1526 series soft sided version includes zippered side windows that roll back for optimum ventilation.

SePRO Preferal Biological Insecticide
The pitch: SePRO’s new Preferal Biological Insecticide contains blastospores of a naturally-occurring strain of the fungus Isaria fumosoroseus, which has demonstrated control of whitefly, aphid, thrips and spider mites.
- Preferal is formulated as a water dispersible granule that is mixed with water and applied as a spray.
- Spores of Preferal then attach and penetrate the cuticle of targeted insect pests. The fungus grows inside the insect, causing its death.
- Under favorable environmental conditions, the fungus will emerge from killed insects to re-release more viable spores to sustain further infections in other insects.

Case CX470C Excavator
The pitch: Case Construction Equipment’s CX470C full-sized excavator is the newest in the Case C Series excavator line that features increased fuel efficiency, productivity and improved serviceability and operator comfort, while achieving Tier 4 Interim certification.
- The new Case CX470C excavator replaces the company’s CX470B model and features Tier 4 Interim-certified cooled exhaust gas recirculation (CEGR) technology that burns cleaner.
- The CX470C, rated at 362-net hp is available in Long Undercarriage (LC), Retractable Undercarriage (RTC) and Mass Excavator (MEX) models.
- Operating weights ranging from 105,300 - 108,600 lbs.
- The CX470C models are roughly 1,100 lbs. heavier than the previous model for improved capacity.
