Ruppert Landscape has expanded its landscape management operations to include a new location in Alpharetta, Georgia. This branch joins two existing landscape management branches in Georgia, located in Lilburn and Mableton.
“Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our team and the loyalty and trust of our customers, we have been able to grow our presence in the Atlanta market enough to dictate an additional branch,” said Steve Faber, region manager. “This market density will allow us to continue providing excellent care to our existing customers while supporting new growth in the region. No less importantly, it will allow us to provide more growth opportunities for our employees.”
This new location will be led by Stephen DeWeese, who has recently been promoted to branch manager. In this role, he will be responsible for the overall welfare of the Alpharetta branch, including the safety and development of his team, strategic planning and budgeting, training, customer service, and day-to-day operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in horticulture from the University of Georgia and has over 23 years of industry experience.
He spent the first 10 years of his career with another leading landscaping company before joining Ruppert’s Lilburn branch as an area manager in 2009. He has twice been recognized with the company’s Branch Impact Award (in 2012 and 2019) for his dedication and contributions to the organization. In 2020, he was promoted to associate branch manager, a position which was designed to prepare talented team members to take on future leadership opportunities.
“Stephen has been a huge asset in helping to grow our brand in the Atlanta market over the last decade,” Faber said. “In his most recent role as associate branch manager in Lilburn, he was instrumental in growing the team and readying them to take on this new opportunity. He and his team have worked hard—with the help of our IT and accounting teams—to establish this branch and begin operating independently starting the first of this year. We are looking forward to serving the Alpharetta community under Stephen’s strong leadership.”
