Big Earth Landscape Supply opens fifth South Florida location

Big Earth Landscape Supply has opened its fifth South Florida location, this one at 7750 Fruitville Road in Sarasota.

The new location is an acquisition of M&W Landscape Supply, which has been in operation since 2003.

“The Lakewood Ranch location will be a welcomed addition to the Big Earth family of stores,” said CEO Adam Rickert. “As we see our commercial customers progressing further east, paired with the substantial growth of this area, Big Earth Lakewood Ranch will allow us to better serve our current customers and new customers, by providing them with quality materials and excellent service.

“In addition to professionals, we are open to the public and welcome homeowners or garden hobbyists to shop our selection of materials, which are available for pick up or delivery," Rickert added.

Big Earth opened its first wholesale landscape location in Bradenton, Florida in 1983. Followed by locations in Palmetto, Sarasota and Tampa. Big Earth Lakewood Ranch will be the fifth Big Earth location in South Florida. Big Earth Lakewood Ranch is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. All Big Earth locations are closed on Sundays.
