Chapel Valley promotes 4 to new leadership positions

Lucas Castor, Josh Richmann, Matt Roberts and Jennifer Hildebrand all have new roles.

Chapel Valley Landscape Company has promoted four of its employees to key leadership positions — Lucas Castor, Josh Richmann, Matt Roberts and Jennifer Hildebrand all have new roles.

Lucas Castor

Castor has been promoted to chief operating officer while continuing to serve as chief growth officer. In his expanded role, Lucas will oversee all company maintenance operations while maintaining his leadership of business development and marketing initiatives.

Before joining Chapel Valley in 2014, Castor gained extensive experience with a national provider, contributing across multiple markets and partnering with design, maintenance and national account teams.

Richmann has been promoted from Richmond branch manager to regional branch manager.

Since joining Chapel Valley in 2002, Richmann has worked in client interaction, employee development, operational planning, budgeting and new business development. Josh has worked on growing the Richmond branch since 2005. Prior to this, he worked at Chapel Valley’s Northern Virginia regional office in irrigation installation estimating, design and service.

A graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelor's degree in horticulture, Richmann holds multiple industry certifications, including a Virginia Certified Fertilizer license, Virginia Pesticide license and Accredited Snow Contractors Association Level 300 Certification.

Josh Richmann

Roberts has been promoted from account manager to Richmond branch manager. Since joining Chapel Valley in 2003, Roberts has served in various roles, managing large commercial properties and overseeing design-build and landscape construction projects throughout the Richmond area.

As branch manager, Roberts will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring client satisfaction and driving growth at the Richmond branch.

Finally, Hildebrand has been promoted to director of safety, succeeding Bruce Parks, who served Chapel Valley for 52 years. Hildebrand has over 20 years of experience in human resources and safety, with a background in manufacturing, hospitality and construction. 

As director of safety, Hildebrand will oversee all aspects of safety training, policy development and hazard prevention, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for Chapel Valley’s employees, clients and partners.
