Raleigh, N.C. – Ed Wandtke, industry insider and a key player in the rollup of landscape and lawn care companies by Landcare and ServiceMaster, has joined Horticultural Asset Management, Inc. (HMI) as strategic adviser to the company. HMI has developed a patent-protected Horticultural Scientific Standart (HS2™) to strengthen the green industry by by determining the current through 10-year valuations of woody trees and shrubs in a landscape.
“When I learned about what HMI was creating, I immediately recognized the value proposition it will offer to forward-thinking suppliers of goods and services in the green industry,” Wandtke says. “I’m excited to be able to play a part in fulfilling the promise that HMI’s technology offers all of us in the industry by creating new revenue streams and improving the consumers’ awareness of the real value of quality landscaping.”
HMI is happy to have Wandtke join their team. “Ed’s knowledge of the industry and outstanding reputation will make him a valuable addition to the growing HMI team,” says Tom Hendrickson, HMI’s chief executive officer. “He will provide HMI with access to potential partners, distributors and customers which would have been very difficult for us to reach independently. We are thrilled to have him on board.”
