As a key market, and with the significant opportunities for further growth and expansion to its 13-store footprint in the state of Florida, Ewing Irrigation & Landscape Supply is promoting a dedicated Division Vice President over Florida.
Starting Sept. 1, 2022, Jeff Bower will serve is the Florida Division Vice President, a promotion from his current role as National Irrigation Category Manager. Bower has extensive experience in Florida’s green industry, both in distribution and manufacturing. He brings a wealth of knowledge and long-standing relationships to his new role. Ewing’s strategic plan for Florida includes opening two new locations in the next six months.
“Florida continues to be one of Ewing’s largest growth opportunities, and having Jeff in this position enhances our ability to grow and expand throughout the state,” said Phil Kerchner, Ewing Eastern Territory President. “Our existing sales and operations leadership in Florida have done an outstanding job leading us into this opportunity for continued growth and will continue to be instrumental in our future.”
Earlier this year, Bower joined Ewing's category management team. He quickly proved to be a great asset in the irrigation category, with extensive product knowledge and a strong understanding of distribution, from vendor relations and sourcing to counter sales and delivery. His experience includes 15 years of managing sales, marketing, operations and procurement as VP and Chief Operating Officer for FIS Outdoor. Prior to FIS, Bower was with Hunter Industries for 12 years, where he worked his way up through the sales ranks to become National Sales Manager. In his early years in the industry, he worked for Century Rain Aid, working in design, estimation and sales.
Bower is a longtime resident of the Tampa Bay area and will continue to be based in that market.
