Exmark has updated its Commercial 30 X-Series walk-behind mower for 2025. The new model uses pivoting front wheels instead of fixed wheels, improving maneuverability.
According to Exmark Product Manager, Lenny Mangnall, the change to the front wheels is one borne out of customer feedback.
“Our customers have always raved about the Commercial 30 X-Series models and their ability to quicklytackle small to mid-size mowing jobs,” Mangnall says. “But a growing number of them asked if it was possible to use pivoting front wheels on the Commercial 30, much like we do on our Turf Tracer large area walk-behind mowers.

“As soon as we tried the first prototype, we knew the pivoting wheels were a clear step forward," Mangnall adds. "They not only make it easier to maneuver around turns and lawn features, but it’s also easier on the operator, since no lifting is required to complete these maneuvers.”
The 2025 Commercial 30 X-Series features a twin-blade 30-inch cutting deck that is capable of cutting nearly an acre per hour. The Commercial 30 X-Series is available with a choice of Kawasaki FJ180V KAI or Kohler Command Pro CV200 engines. A heavy-duty wet clutch transmission features self-tensioning belt drive to minimize maintenance and maximize reliability in the most demanding commercial mowing conditions.
Other features include a large one-gallon fuel tank which offers extended runtime between fill-ups, and a standard front bumper protecting the powertrain from impacts from the front and sides.
