FleetWatcher by AlignOps debuts Today’s Projects feature

Today’s Projects aggregates project data to provides users with a clear visual overview of their projects.

FleetWatcher by AlignOps has introduced new functionality to provide users with at-a-glance status of current projects in process.

Today’s Projects aggregates project data to provides users with a clear visual overview of their projects so they can easily see if they are on track or if changes are need. Users can click on the Map to see the project from a bird’s eye view. Those who prefer to see the data can filter by project or project type to see metrics such as how many assets are on the project, total run time hours, total miles, total fuel usage and productive percentage.

Users can check on how many assets are involved with a project and drill down into more specifics.

A thumbs up/sideways/down indicator alongside productive percentage shows users how their productivity compares to the project’s stated goals. Clicking on the Maintenance button shows any upcoming or overdue maintenance for equipment working the project. Users can see further details by selecting the “All Data” button, and then drill down to see detailed project and equipment productivity.

“This new functionality gives users a quick overview of their projects to see at a glance if they are on track or if changes are required,” says FleetWatcher by AlignOps Vice President Evan Triggs. “It is another example of how aggregating data through a single source tames data overload. Top level data is clearly displayed, but users can also drill down to get a granular view of specific equipment and project productivity.”

Non-standard projects (unassigned and unauthorized stops) are excluded by default but can be included if desired. The page refreshes periodically at predetermined intervals but may also be refreshed manually to verify that changes made are taking effect.
