Flowerwood Announces New General Sales Manager and Representatives

Continuing its efforts to make the process of purchasing quality plants from multiple strategic locations both easy and enjoyable, Flowerwood Nursery Inc. announces the appointment of several new sales positions.

Todd Carnley, formerly outside sales manager for Flowerwood Nursery, will now assume the duties of General Sales Manager, leading both the inside customer service teams and the territory sales representatives. Keith Winger will lead the Independent Customer Team and Vicky Lee will lead the Large Accounts Team.

For Flowerwood, 2005 was marked by a mission to provide improved service and additional product knowledge to customers through the introduction of territory sales representatives.

In areas that Flowerwood offers outside sales representation, customers can now simply contact their sales representative to find the Flowerwood product that they need. The sales representative will then work with the customer to choose from Flowerwood’s quality mix of woody ornamentals —including Encore Azalea— from many of Flowerwood’s locations. Flowerwood Nursery has 11 locations throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.

The 2006 appointments are another step in this unifying process, which for customers simply translates into better service and selection.

Responding to demand, Flowerwood has also added new territory sales representatives for 2006, extending coverage through more areas of Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.

Flowerwood Territory Sales Representatives include:

• Jenny Bloodworth - Covering northwest Georgia including the northwest portion of metro Atlanta.
• Aimee Coker - Covering the lower to mid-Atlantic coast including Savannah, Ga.; Jacksonville, Fla.; and South Carolina, including Charlotte and Columbia.
• Allyson Gay - Covering southwest metro Atlanta, and south to Columbus, Ga.
• Liz Johnston - Covering the Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast area, including Mobile and Dothan, Ala.; and Pensacola, Fort Walton, Panama City, and Tallahassee, Fla.
• Tony Kohanna – Covering middle and southern Georgia, including Macon, Augusta and Valdosta.
• Kip McConnell - Covering Baton Rouge, La.; New Orleans; Jackson, Miss., coastal Mississippi and surrounding areas.
• Tony Magon - Covering central and southern Alabama, including Montgomery, Birmingham and Florence.
• Kevin Moran - Covering northeast Georgia, including the northeast portion of metro Atlanta and the Greenville-Spartanburg area of South Carolina.
• Tom Smith – Covering middle and eastern Tennessee including Nashville and Knoxville, and northern Alabama including Huntsville.
