Focal Pointe's Sean Rogers

Focal Pointe has named Sean Rogers its director of fleet and facilities.

Rogers has nearly 15 years of management experience in heavy equipment operations and logistics, and will have overall responsibility for accelerating Focal Pointe’s training and safety programs. He joins Focal Pointe with a background in residential and commercial landscape construction, and design-build project management.

“We are committed to making every part of our business world class,” says Brett Gordon, Focal Pointe partner and chief operating officer. “Sean will provide strategic direction and leadership to two areas that are vital to our culture--efficiency and safety.  Managing our fleet and making sure we have the right tools and technologies, and a high performing shop operation is as important to the customer experience as anything else.  It is all part of creating great value and a great experience for our customers.”

In his new role, Rogers will oversee the daily operations of Focal Pointe’s vehicle fleet, including heavy duty trucks and trailers, and specialized equipment and technologies for landscape maintenance and construction, and snow removal. In addition, he will be responsible for managing all Focal Pointe shop facilities in Kansas City, Illinois, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

Rogers graduated from State Technology College of Missouri with a degree in heavy equipment operations. He and his wife, Jessica Rogers are parents of three children and live in Jefferson City, Missouri. Meanwhile, Focal Pointe ranked No. 84 on Lawn & Landscape's Top 100 list.

“I’m excited to work with Brett and the entire team and honored to be part of such a well-respected organization,” Rogers says.  “I look forward to looking at ways we can integrate technology and automation and make our operations more productive, efficient and competitive, all while having fun at what we do."
