Home Depot recently recognized more than 14 companies for outstanding product performance andv innovation – and John Deere was one of the honored few.
At this year’s supplier partnership meeting, hosted by Home Depot, the industry manufacturer received the top product innovation honor for its 100-Series riding lawn tractors.
“Our innovation award honors John Deere this year for their forward-thinking, responsiveness and product development that best serves our customers,” described John Costello, executive vice president of merchandising and marketing, Home Depot. “We also are proud to recognize other key suppliers who have been leaders in their categories with a product solution that best fits their needs.”
John Deere worked directly with Home Depot to develop a new line of tractors to match the needs of customers while, at the same time, maintaining a reasonable price.
“This award is a positive reflection on the partnership between The Home Depot, John Deere and our outstanding dealer network that has made innovation in sales and service a reality,” noted John Jenkins, president, John Deere Worldwide Commercial and Consumer Equipment division. “We are honored to be the recipient.”
