Landscape Workshop acquires Louisiana Landscape Specialty

Randy M. Loup will stay aboard after three decades of growing Louisiana Landscape Specialty into a company with over 100 employees across three locations.

Landscape Workshop recently acquired Louisiana Landscape Specialty with three locations based in Southeast Louisiana.

Randy M. Loup started Louisiana Landscape Specialty in 1983. Since that time, LLS developed from a small landscape installation and maintenance operation with less than a dozen employees into the one of the largest landscape contracting companies in the Gulf, employing over 100 landscape industry professionals.

"Our organization has built a solid reputation over the years, establishing trust with our clients through a highly skilled team that consistently delivers exceptional commercial landscape services," Loup says. "We sought out a partner that shares our commitment to continued excellence, with enhanced capabilities and proven systems. Equally important was finding a partner that values our employees' welfare and offers growth prospects for our team. Landscape Workshop emerged as the ideal choice, providing our team with job security and enhanced career opportunities."

Loup will join Landscape Workshop as a founder and partner. Loup is responsible for driving a seamless transition for LLS’ customers and employees.

“Landscape Workshop is excited to enter the Louisiana market. With the acquisition of Louisiana Landscape Specialty, Inc., one of the leading landscape companies in South Louisiana, we can now provide service to even more of the Southeastern United States," says J.T. Price, Landscape Workshop CEO. "We are also thrilled to welcome the LLS team members to our LW family.”

Landscape Workshop is a full-service grounds management firm, delivering professional service and expert maintenance for commercial outdoor spaces since 1984. Serving 17 Southeastern markets, Landscape Workshop operates in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, and the Florida panhandle. Landscape Workshop is backed by Carousel Capital and McKinney Capital.

Landscape Workshop ranked No. 36 on Lawn & Landscape's Top 100 list this year.

Butler Sparks and Stuart Maxey of Bradley served as Landscape Workshop’s legal counsel in this transaction. Louisiana Landscape Specialty, Inc. was represented by Rob Bethea, M. Pearson Lewallen II, and Lee C. Reid of Adams & Reese LLP.  Jeff Harkness and Bill Larsen of Three Point Group served as the Sellers’ financial advisors.
