Following a week-long hiatus, the electronic filing system for seasonal guestworker visas went back online Monday at 2 p.m. EST, according to an update from the Department of Labor.
According to an article by Bloomberg Law, the iCERT system crashed Jan. 1 when it was overwhelmed with applications for 97,800 H-2B workers, leaving employers unable to start the process for obtaining foreign labor for the spring season.
