Tym Tractors announces sponsorship deal with Jimmy Houston

WILSON, N.C. – TYM (Tong Yang Moolsan) Tractors has formed a partnership with Fisherman, Jimmy Houston.
Houston is currently in his 31st year on national television with his show “Jimmy Houston Outdoors.”

His show consistently ranked as the No. 1 outdoors show on ESPN for 20 years. The show airs on other channels, including Versus (OLN), American One, Faith TV, America Media Group, and Lone Star Network.

Charley Mullett, national marketing manager for TYM Tractors, had words of praise about the fishing legend. “We are excited to have Jimmy on our TYM team. He is known as the hardest working pro in the country, and we have the hardest working tractors in the country. It is a perfect match for us,” Mullett said. The sponsorship deal was signed in January 2011.

Among the honors received, Houston was inducted in to the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame in 1990 and the Professional Bass Fishing Hall of Fame in 2002. He was inducted in to the IGFA Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame and the Legends of the Outdoors Hall of Fame in 2008. Then in 1989, he was named King of Sports for fishing.

In addition to TYM Tractors, Houston represents many of America’s top outdoor-related companies. As TYM’s national spokesperson, Houston will appear at farm and tractor trade shows throughout the nation for meet and greet sessions with fans and buyers.
