KANSAS CITY, Mo. — RYAN Lawn & Tree is pleased to announce its acquisition of Maisch Small Engine. The lawn and tree care service company has utilized the Kansas City-based Stihl dealer for years to help maintain its landscape equipment.
“We want to welcome our newest acquisition to the RYAN Lawn & Tree family,” said Larry Ryan, founder and president. “This is a unique purchase. Retail is new to RYAN and we are excited to embrace the new challenge.”
Maisch Small Engine is located in Lenexa, Kansas, and has been serving the lawn care community for 30 plus years. The acquisition closed on November 3, 2014 and RYAN has been busy bringing the two companies together.
“This is an opportunity to service our customers even better by making lawn care easier and more enjoyable through the use of quality equipment,” said Tara DePaepe, RYAN marketing director.
RYAN now offers lawn care equipment repair services in addition to the expert repair services of tree care equipment acquired with Maisch Small Engine.
RYAN Lawn & Tree was founded in 1987 by Larry Ryan in Overland Park, Kan. It offers lawn care, tree and shrub care, irrigation, and pest and disease control services in the Kansas City and St. Louis metro areas, Springfield, Mo., Tulsa, Okla., Wichita, Kan., and Lawrence, Kan.
