BrightView launches new brand

The world’s largest landscape company was formed when Brickman and ValleyCrest merged.

ROCKVILLE, Md. – BrightView officially launched its new brand countrywide on March 17. The nation’s largest landscaping services firm was formed in June 2014 and brings in more than $2 billion in annual revenue. BrightView employs 22,000 professionals in the landscape and snow services industry.

Beginning now and continuing through mid-summer, the company will transition to the BrightView brand. This process follows the merger and integration of Brickman and ValleyCrest.

“This is a significant day as we take the next step in communicating BrightView and the promise of delivering confidence from excellence,” said BrightView CEO Andrew Kerin. “We do this by taking care of each other, clients and communities and by taking pride in trusted relationships and solutions that matter. We’re excited about this next chapter – and we’re thankful to all of our talented team members and those who have worked hard over many years to make this a reality.”

The name BrightView was chosen to express the bright views, or beautiful landscapes, the organization designs, develops, maintains and enhances on client properties. Additionally, it speaks to the bright view the organization offers its team members in the form of opportunity and career advancement, as well as a continued commitment to excellence in service delivery for its clients and their customers, the company said.

BrightView honors the organization’s legacy brands, founders, shared values and all the people who contributed to Brickman and ValleyCrest’s combined 140 years of success by carrying forward the ‘B’ from Brickman and the ‘V’ from ValleyCrest.
