SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Rick Engineering Company (RICK) announced Patricia Trauth has joined the company as principal landscape architect. She will be responsible for managing landscape architecture staff, business development and project management in its eight offices.
As a licensed landscape architect in California, a certified planner and a LEED accredited professional, she has planned and designed numerous public and private projects throughout San Diego County and the Los Angeles basin. Her projects have received awards from organizations including CMAA, ASCE, APWA, ULI, APA and NAVFAC.
“I’m thrilled to be at RICK working with my peers in a collaborative setting. As a landscape architect, I think the dynamic qualities of plant material compliment the engineering aspects of development. Landscape architecture is all about taking development and sensitively integrating it in with nature so both can thrive. This approach creates value for our clients and results in successful projects,” said Trauth.
Trauth graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and a Bachelor of Science in Education. She has a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Arizona.
