Central Turf & Irrigation Supply appoints general manager

Elmsford, NY – Central Turf & Irrigation Supply, a wholesale distributor of irrigation, landscape, lighting and equipment supplies, named Jeff Hume as its general manager.

Hume will direct Central’s store locations and expansion efforts in the Eastern United States, taking immediate responsibility for a growth initiative in the New England region.

Hume has more than three decades of industry experience, including skills in business operations, business development, sales and marketing.

He previously worked for BISCO (Boston Irrigation Supply Company), where he held a series of progressive responsibilities, including the position of vice president. He also has in-the-field experience in leading an irrigation system installation business.
