NDS, a storm water management, efficient irrigation and flow management company, has acquired the DrainTech product line from Advanced Drainage Systems Inc.
DrainTech offers a line of basins, channels and grates that have been designed to provide maximum performance with minimal maintenance.
The purchase represents adds to NDS’s line of surface and subsurface drainage products sold across the United States and the world. NDS will be consolidating the DrainTech product line into its Lindsay, Calif. manufacturing facility and will begin shipping from all NDS regional warehouses in the near future. These products will continue to be sold under the DrainTech brand.
“This acquisition will give our customers a one-stop source for a full range of drainage solutions to meet all of their needs, from the largest contractor all the way to a homeowner doing a backyard drainage project” said Mike Gummeson, president and CEO of NDS. “We are excited about the opportunities this acquisition presents to us and to our customers.”
ADS will continue to process, ship and invoice orders for the product lines purchased by NDS for a short transition period. “We’re jointly working towards having all operations and customer support fully transitioned to NDS’s facility in Lindsay, California by August 5, 2013,” said Barry McHone, vice president of operations at NDS.
