Pittsburgh – There are now four Powered by LandOpt Contractors in the state of Ohio. Holland-based Pro Edge Lawn Care has joined the LandOpt Contractor Network.
Established by owner Tony Szczechowski in 2000, Pro Edge provides maintenance services for both commercial and residential customers that include mowing, pruning, mulch, bed maintenance, and spring/fall clean ups as well as snow removal.
Pursuit of structure and accountability within his growing business is what led Szczechowski to learn more about the LandOpt System. “Defining roles, creating a detailed financial plan and adding systems are just part of what will contribute to our continued growth and ultimately, our success,” the owner noted.
Following on the heels of Cincinnati-based Allison Landscaping, Pro Edge is the second Ohio contractor that LandOpt has added this year. They join veteran LandOpt Network companies – ProScape Lawn & Landscape, Marion; and American Beauty Landscaping, Boardman – in rounding out LandOpt’s presence in the state.
According to LandOpt President & CEO Tim Smith, Ohio is not the only state within the Network with multiple contractor locations. In fact, density within a state has many advantages for both the landscape contractor and its customers. “Certainly the power of the Network is heightened when there are peers who are in such close proximity. It’s easier for business owners and team members to interact and visit one another. They find great value in combining forces to maximize their presence at state and regional events and, within their respective state or region, customers come to understand the value in the LandOpt brand and can easily find a local qualified contractor on whom they can rely,” Smith said. “As our Network grows, so, too, will recognition and the associated value of the LandOpt brand.”
