
MOLINE, Ill. – John Deere added the EH Boom Performance Package as a feature to their G-series large-frame skid-steers and compact track loaders. The feature will come factory installed on the 330G and 332G skid-steers, as well as the 331G and 333G compact track loaders.
“Our EH Boom Performance Package automates repetitive tasks and improves job site efficiencies and safety,” said Gregg Zupancic, product marketing manager of John Deere Construction & Forestry.
The EH Boom Performance Package is designed to help trim cycle times, speed production and improve job site awareness. It features an electronic self-level (ESL) feature that keeps the bucket, pallet forks or other attachments level.
The package includes updated joysticks with built-in detent positions to activate the operator programmable boom and bucket functions. The return to dig (RTD) feature is meant to automatically and easily reset the bucket or attachment to a ready to work position. Other features like
The EH Boom Performance Package is also designed to allow the machines to rise higher, reach farther and lift more. Height to hinge pin is 11 feet and the lift path on the G-Series extends an additional 6 inches from the machine.
“With this new technology,” Zupancic said, “Operators can feel more confident and productive than ever before.”
