John Deere issued a recall for its D105 tractors, citing possible transmission failures. The recall includes around 25,000 tractors sold at authorized dealers, Home Depot and Lowe's stores from Feb. 2016 through July 2017.
D105 tractors with the serial number 1GXD105, along with service transmissions made for use in the D105 tractors can be repaired for free at any John Deere dealer. To check the status of your tractor, visit JohnDeere.com/D105-Transmission-Recall.
If your tractor's serial number is on the list, or your D105 transmission was replaced between March 2016 and Aug. 2017, contact your local John Deere dealer.
