Bayer launches Fall Solutions savings program

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Environmental Science, a business unit of Bayer Crop Science, is launching 2018 Bayer Fall Solutions, offering early order incentives for lawn and landscape professionals preparing for 2019. Fall Solutions opens Oct. 1, 2018 and ends Dec. 7, 2018.

With Bayer Fall Solutions, lawn and landscape professionals can expect savings on Bayer solutions such as Specticle FLO, Celsius WG and Tribute Total herbicides – plus Merit 75 WSP and Topchoice insecticides. Offering both standalone products and an agronomic package, the early order proigram is customizable.

“Our solutions are designed for the challenges that lawn and landscape professionals face each season and every day on the job,” said Peter Farno, Bayer U.S. Lawn and Landscape segment manager. “Bayer’s science continues to help set our customers up for success.”

Solutions include:

• Specticle FLO, a preemergence herbicide proven to provide warm-season lawn and landscape professionals with superior control of the most troublesome weeds, like goosegrass and Poa annua. And it even offers some postemergence control of crabgrass.
• Celsius WG, a postemergence, warm-season turf herbicide that handles conditions many other products cannot. It controls more than 100 weeds, including dollarweed, Virginia buttonweed, doveweed and bull paspalum.
• Tribute Total, which provides warm-season turf managers with a complete solution for postemergence control of weeds including Poa annua, goosegrass, dallisgrass, Virginia buttonweed, doveweed, and sedges as well as kyllingas and many other broadleaf weeds on Bermudagrass and Zoysiagrass lawns.
• Merit, an insecticide for season-long grub control, as well as residual control of numerous ornamental pests. Merit has a broad spectrum systemic action that delivers preventive and curative results at low usage rates.
• Topchoice, an insecticide that provides control of fire ants for up to a full year. A single application controls existing colonies while also preventing new infestations from forming.
