In partnership with Goodwill Industries (made possible by a grant from the Walmart Foundation), NJLCA will begin offering a Middle Skills Management Training and Certificate Program, free to its members.
The training includes topics such as team building, conflict resolution, motivating employees, change and stress management, goal setting, time management and creating a culture of customer service excellence.
When: Mondays, Jan. 18 through March 7 from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Where: NJLCA Headquarters, 465 Boulevard, Elmwood Park, NJ 07407 (Must park across the street on Veterans Place or in NJLCA assigned spaces.)
Who: Employers can refer any of their employees who have at least six months experience and who they feel have the potential to move up in their company with appropriate training.
Cost: Free to NJLCA members
