Massey Services promotes Helsby, Meyer to senior director roles

Blaine Helsby is now the senior director of accounting & reporting and Melissa Meyer is promoted to senior director of human resources.

Massey Services, which ranked No. 30 on Lawn & Landscape's Top 100 list last year, has promoted Blaine Helsby to senior director of accounting & reporting and Melissa Meyer to senior director of human resources.

Helsby joined Massey in 2023. In his new role, Helsby will focus on developing solutions that update workflows and reduce processing times for improved productivity in the accounting and reporting departments.

Blaine is a University of Central Florida graduate, earning both a master's and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration, with minors in marketing and hospitality. Blaine is also a licensed CPA.

Melissa Meyer

Meyer joined Massey Services in 2005 as an office manager in the Port Orange Service Center. In 2014, she transitioned to the administrative training team, where she earned a promotion to director within three years. In 2022, Meyer was appointed director of human resources, where she has been instrumental in strengthening HR operations and meeting the needs of Massey’s growing workforce.

As senior director of human resources, Meyer will oversee all aspects of HR operations, including policies, compliance, benefits and workers’ compensation, employee relations, performance management and organizational development.

Meyer graduated from Daytona State College with a bachelor's degree in human resources management.
