Mecalac acquired by FAYAT Group

The FAYAT Group has acquired the Mecalac Group, a transaction that's subject to regulatory approval by the relevant competition authorities and is expected to be completed by the first half of 2025. 

FAYAT is an independent group of construction and road equipment companies. It was founded in 1957 in France, but it now has 234 subsidiaries operating in 170 countries.

In the meantime, Mecalac, an international producer of wheel excavators, crawler excavators and wheel loaders, will continue to operate as usual. Once the transaction is finalized, both groups will work together on a cohesive transition.
