SOLO Inc. has introduced a new line of string trimmers to meet the trimming and weed cutting needs of today’s landscape contractor.

SOLO Model 117NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - SOLO Inc. has introduced a new line of string trimmers to meet the trimming and weed cutting needs of today’s landscape contractor. The new line features vibration-free handles, a sleek engine casing and a high performance engine.

Each of the four gas-powered models incorporates the accumulated experience of three generations in the development and design of two-cycle engines, trimmers, brush cutters and other outdoor power equipment, according to SOLO, the United States subsidiary of SOLO Kleinmotoren GmbH.

SOLO Model 121LThe string trimmers are lighter in weight than previous units and have a new ergonomically arranged handle that is isolated from vibration. The 25cc displacement engines come with an easy start priming system that assures quick and easy starting even after the engine has been shut off for long periods of time, according to SOLO. The control switches are located at the multi-function grip, and an advanced anti-vibration system assures greater operator comfort and easy operation.

SOLO Model 129LThe 117, 121L and 129L Models have a nylon-head trimming attachment, a loop-type handle and weigh less than 10 pounds. Model 129B features a bicycle type handle, is equipped with a nylon trimming attachment and is recommended for use with a cutting blade.
