NEW HOLLAND, Pa. - New Holland recently added seven new LoadStar attachments to boost machine productivity for its skid steer loaders used in the landscape, contractor, industrial and agricultural markets. Included in the new offerings are:
AUTO RAKE - Landscape professionals can use New Holland’s Auto Rake to pick up rocks and dirt clods from ¾ to 6 inches to groom soil surfaces for seeding or sod placement. The unit is available in 63.5- and 73.5-inch working widths.
FLAIL MOWER - The flail mower for grass and brushwork is available in three widths from 62 to 88 inches. The units feature forward rotation to pick up flattened grass and pull in tall weeds, brush and trees up to 1.5 inches tall.
STUMP GRINDER - The low-flow stump grinder provides a 16-inch cutting depth and handles stumps up to 21 inches tall. Integral stabilizer feet add productivity.
TREE SPADE - New Holland’s tree spade is available in 30-, 34- and 36-inch ball sizes. Overlapping blades provide scissors action for effective root cut and ball support. The open frame and low profile design provide access to the tree and minimize branch damage.
GROUSER SOFT TRACK - The Grouser Soft Track for New Holland skid steer loaders is a “run loose” design that reduces ground pressure by as much as 50 percent for improved flotation and less strain on the drive system, according to the company. The tracks have replaceable, bolt-on soft shoes.
REAR STABILIZER KIT - A new rear stabilizer kit is available for use with backhoes and tree spades.
MANURE SCRAPER - A manure scraper option kit includes bolt-on end wings and a top scraper that lets the operator pull material back from the base of walls or curbs.
