The Nursery & Landscape Association Executives of North America (NLAE) announced that OFA – an Association of Horticulture Professionals will manage the organization effectively immediately.
“We are excited about this new opportunity to work with OFA,” said Ben Bolusky, President of NLAE. “With over a century of experience, the OFA team has a proven track record of association and event management. Their areas of expertise complement NLAE’s mission.
In addition to managing NLAE, OFA also provides management services to America in Bloom, the Southeast Greenhouse Conference, and the Ohio Produce Growers & Marketers Association.
“We are pleased to have been selected by NLAE as their new management team. OFA’s mission is to advance professional horticulture, so this is a great opportunity for us to reach out and assist another industry organization. It’s a win-win for everyone,” said OFA President Bobby Barnitz. “We look forward to working with the board of directors and members to ensure the most efficient use of resources, and to help all industry associations succeed.”
NLAE, founded in 1947, is a national organization of green industry association executives working cooperatively to solve problems facing the industry and their associations; to develop and improve services to each member and their respective associations; to disseminate information to its members; and to provide educational programs on association management.
A staff executive of any state, provincial, multi-state, or national horticulture trade association in North America is eligible for membership.
