PlanIT Geo has launched TreePlotter Projects in the TreePlotter Software Suite to help cities, nonprofits, and organizations manage, track and report on urban forestry projects.
This feature enables users to break down large-scale initiatives, such as tree planting and canopy expansion, into manageable objectives, track real-time progress, and streamline grant reporting, including compliance with federal funding requirements such as those under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
This will simplify the management of urban greening efforts by allowing users to track milestones, generate automated reports, and focus resources on areas of greatest need for maximum impact. Key features include project-based tracking, where users can manage and track active individual tree planting or greening projects from start to finish, and plan for future projects.
It also includes automated reporting that meets federal and other grant requirements. Users receive real-time updates on project status, equity-focused visualizations to prioritzie planting in underserved areas and a centralized management platform, where users can flip between tasks like data collection and analysis.
