After 25 years as Planter Technology, the company has changed its name to Tournesol Siteworks LLC. As stated in a press release, the change reflects the company’s expanding range of landscape solutions for the urban environment.
Previously, Planter Technology was primarily known for their container irrigation systems, but their offerings have grown to encompass products like hanging planters on structures, lightweight site furnishings in fiberglass and concrete and green roof components. The company will continue to use the Planter Technology name for its line of container irrigation products.
As part of the change, the company has recently completed an overhaul of its Web site. The new Web site brings all of the various products together in one place and features conveniences like CAD details, streamed video instruction manuals, an interactive container irrigation sizing guide and complete material selector. The site is easy to navigate, and provides full information for the specifier, installing contractor and maintenance contractor. Visit it at www.tournesolsiteworks.com.
“We’ve been growing, not just in terms of our organic product line, but also in the range of solutions we can provide for urban landscapes,” commented Christopher Lyon, president of Tournesol Siteworks. “Changing the name just reflects the reality of our current situation."
