Project EverGreen is bringing back the GreenCare for Troops You Move, We Mow Challenge, a nationwide fundraiser that supports deployed military personnel by providing free lawn and landscape services for their families.
During GreenCare for Troops Awareness Month, landscapers are challenged to log 19,000 steps between June 22-28 by walking, running, biking, or hiking.
"Behind every uniform is a family that serves alongside them," says Ki Matsko, program manager for GreenCare for Troops. "By participating, you're showing these families that their sacrifices are seen, valued, and never forgotten."
Registration is $30 and the first 100 registrants receive a limited edition Project EverGreen baseball hat.
