Period of performance will be from date of award through December 31, 2002. This request for quote (RFQ) contains an option clause to extend the contract for four (4) one-year periods; January 1, 2003, through 31 December 2003, January 1, 2004, through December 31, 2004, January 1, 2005, through December 31, 2005, and January 1, 2006, through December 31, 2006. Award of this RFQ will be based upon best value to the government. Factors to be considered are past performance, experience (business experience and personnel qualifications), schedule (start-up) and price. This RFQ contains an option clause to extend the contract for four (4) one-year periods. Asheville, N.C. Department of Agriculture Issues RFP
(Posted April 29, 2002) Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, R-8/SRS Eastern Administrative Zone, P.O. Box 2750 160-A, Zillicoa St., Asheville, N.C., 28802, seeks roadside mowing services. The Sumter National Forest, Long Cane Ranger District, McCormick, Greenwood, Saluda and Edgefield counties of South Carolina plan to contract for Roadside Mowing. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, and supervision for mowing roadside vegetation on National Forest lands, in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract.
