He will also be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all Ruppert Landscape facilities, including 28 shop and office locations along the east coast from Atlanta to Philadelphia, along with Houston and Nashville. Franklin holds a bachelor's degree from Radford University and has over 25 years of management experience, ranging from operations to logistics, including transportation, warehouse, and distribution management. Prior to Ruppert, he served as senior distribution center manager for the Kellogg Company in Hagerstown, Maryland. He joined Ruppert in 2016 as director of fleet and facilities, and in 2019 took on oversight of the growing safety department as well.

“As our company has grown, we have built our bench strength in our corporate departments to better support our branch operations,” said Phil Key, company president. “This has brought about the need for additional oversight to provide strategic direction, analysis, organization, and leadership. These three areas—fleet, facilities, and safety—are vital to our culture, as they reflect our image and give our team the resources needed to do their jobs safely and effectively. Greg’s thorough understanding of our culture and ability to optimize procedures has been a huge asset to our team and will continue to benefit the company in his new role.”
