Ruppert Landscape has expanded its landscape construction division with a new branch in Washington, DC. This branch joins six existing construction offices located in Laytonsville (Maryland), Gainesville (Virginia), Raleigh (North Carolina), Atlanta (Georgia), Nashville (Tennessee), and Houston (Texas).
“This new branch opening has been a strategic move fueled by the remarkable growth we have witnessed in the DC/VA market,” says Jim Tuzzolino, regional vice president in the company’s landscape construction division. “This expansion represents not only our commitment to meet the demands of the flourishing construction industry in the region but also our dedication to serving our customers. With this growth, we aim to cement our presence, foster local partnerships, and contribute to the development of the DC metropolitan region."
Mike Ryan will oversee the new branch. In his new role, Ryan will oversee all planning, budgeting, and personnel development in the branch and ensure customer satisfaction on all landscape construction projects within the DC metro region.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in horticulture from Virginia Tech and has been with the Ruppert organization for over eight years, having 25 years of combined industry experience. He joined Ruppert in 2015 as a production manager in the Virginia landscape construction branch and quickly rose through the ranks to operations manager and then assistant branch manager. In 2017, he was awarded the company’s Branch Impact Award for outstanding dedication and contributions to the organization.
"Mike's exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to customer service have been instrumental in successfully splitting our Virginia operations and establishing a new branch," Tuzzolino says. "We are thrilled to witness Mike's advancement in his career and have complete confidence that under his guidance, the future of Ruppert in DC is bound for success."
"Our team is an incredible blend of talent and enthusiasm, ready to embrace the complex projects that cross our path," Ryan says. "Being situated in DC, one of the nation's most rapidly growing markets, provides us with boundless opportunities and we are looking forward to continuing to build our team and tapping into the skilled workforce that this community has to offer.”
Ruppert’s new branch will support large-scale landscape construction projects in the DC metro area, with services include estimating and pre-construction services; installation of landscape, hardscape, and special decorative structures; and irrigation and water management.
