John Allin buys equity position in CrewTracker, to serve as company VP

CrewTracker Software majority owner and CEO, Randy Spivey announced today that Rick Sippola, Chautauqua Consulting,  and snow industry leader John Allin have established equity positions with CrewTracker.  Both will participate in the management and future growth of the Company.  Rick Sippola brings his expertise as a CPA and financial consultant to the management team and will assume the role of CFO.  Industry leader John Allin is a natural fit given his extensive snow industry background.  Allin will oversee the day-to-day operations and assume the role of vice president. 

“This is a key change in the company which will allow CrewTracker to continue to grow and service the snow industry” states Randy Spivey.  Spivey added: “These changes will also allow me to concentrate on the software, its continued development and evolution, and to allow us to change with the continued evolution of the snow industry itself.”  

Neither Sippola nor Allin will stop or cut back their other business endeavors as they take on their respective roles at CrewTracker.  Additional staff will be brought on board to assist with the growth of the company over the long term.  Allin commented: “This is a great product, built by a snow professional for snow professionals.  My consulting business is strong, and will remain strong; and it is through my consulting that I have had in-depth exposure to the software.  When this opportunity presented itself, it was a no-brainer based upon my clients experience and my own opinion of the software.” 

Spivey also stated “The addition of John Allin and Rick Sippola will give CrewTracker a specific direction for ongoing success by having people with snow industry experience and proven success at growth initiatives at the helm directing that growth.” 

Company founder and co-creator of the CrewTracker software system, Dan Gilliland has left the company to pursue other endeavors.  Dan Gilliland divested himself of his ownership position at the end of 2012.  Gilliland will be retained in a consulting role during the transition.
