Penn Atlantic Nursery Trade Show (PANTS) attendees and exhibitors can now use Tropiano Airport Shuttle Service to get from the Philadelphia International Airport to the Atlantic City Convention Center for only $45 per person, one way. If you’re flying into the Atlantic City Airport and going to the Convention Center, the shuttle service is available for only $13 per person, one way. “We started the shuttle service because the Convention Center was losing business when people couldn’t find their way back to the airport,” said Nick Tropiano, owner of Tropiano Transportation. “It saves people from having to rent a car or a limo to get from the airport to Atlantic City and from the Convention Center home.” Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance by calling 800.559.2040.
If you’d like to ride the train, the New Jersey Transit provides train service from Atlantic City to several cities in New Jersey and continues to Amtrak’s 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, where connections may be made throughout Pennsylvania, to the Northeast Corridor and all other Amtrak destinations. The New Jersey Transit Rail Terminal is located inside the Atlantic City Convention Center.
While you’re in the heart of the city, take advantage of the free shuttle service provided between all participating PANTS hotels and the Atlantic City Convention Center. Pick-up times and other information on the shuttle service is provided at all PANTS hotels. Shuttles will operate on Tuesday, July 24 and Wednesday, July 25 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Thursday, July 26 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Jitney buses also run 24 hours a day with stops on the corner of every route running the entire length of Pacific Avenue, parallel to the boardwalk, Marina District and the Convention Center. One-way fees apply. Call 609/344-8642 for more information.
