TCIRood helps AirBurners roll out BioCharger at live event

TCIRood’s site served as a demonstration facility for AirBurners’ vegetative waste management and power generation product.

TCIRood, a company that joined the Mariani Premier Group earlier this year, has collaborated with AirBurners, a Florida-based company that develops solutions to fight climate change, to host this week's Waste to Watts: A New Era in Clean Energy.

The event introduced a new vegetative waste management product, the BioCharger, and highlighted other solutions for turning vegetative waste into renewable energy.

TCIRood’s site served as a real-world demonstration facility for AirBurners’ technology. When TCIRood first acquired a 40-acre site filled with unmanaged landscape debris, they found a partnership with AirBurners and its FireBox system. The product aims to eliminate vegetative waste while producing byproducts like potash and biochar, which can be used for soil enrichment.

The BioCharger was developed in collaboration with Volvo Construction Equipment and Rolls-Royce Power Systems. It is a fully portable air curtain burner system, similar to the FireBox System, with the added benefit of converting radiant heat into electricity, storing the generated power, and then charging electric vehicles and equipment on-site.

The debut of the BioCharger event included live demonstrations and an explanation of TCIRood's sustainability story.

“We’re proud to host Waste to Watts and showcase how our site serves as a model for sustainable waste management,” says Scott Fay, co-president of TCIRood. “Our work with AirBurners has transformed how we handle landscape debris, and we’re excited to share these groundbreaking solutions with others looking for cleaner, more efficient waste management strategies.”
