The Grounds Guys award East Wichita with top franchise honors

Jeff Baker, owner of The Grounds Guys of East Wichita, was named “Franchise of the Year,” the highest honor from The Grounds Guys, a Neighborly company. The Grounds Guys home office team presented the award to Baker during Neighborly’s annual reunion conference held October 16-19, 2023, in Denver.

The Franchise of the Year award is bestowed upon a franchise owner who has consistently grown through proper training and management of their organization and has a consistently high level of quality, professional service.

“It is an honor to receive this award,” Baker says. “It proves that working hard and providing outstanding customer service can go a long way.” A decade ago, Baker, a former Air Force veteran and former El Dorado police officer, established The Ground Guys of East Wichita.

“Jeff and his team are well-deserving of this award,” says Lori Johnson, president of The Grounds Guys. “This is the highest honor given to a The Grounds Guys franchise owner, and their dedication to their customers, employees and trade is evident in all they do.”
