UTICA, N.Y. – To increase its customer base and accessibility, Trim-A-Lawn Corporation, a producer of walk-behind, powered lawn trimmers, has announced a new marketing venture. Trim-A-Lawn recently developed a comprehensive e-commerce web site with an extensive list of Internet-based marketing services. The site opened yesterday, Dec. 7, 1999, although further enhancements to the site are still being worked on.
The newly developed web site will include several features, allowing viewers to navigate through company information and products. According to Trim-A-Lawn President Dallas Jones, www.trimalawn.com will feature information on the company’s full product line, an investor center where company shareholders can obtain up-to-date information, and additional online support from the sales and marketing departments.
"With interest in our products growing so rapidly and with our introduction of new products this year, this was the natural next step," said Jones. "We are looking to the Web to not only increase our brand awareness and sales, but to assist in streamlining our operations as well."
Trim-A-Lawn produces and markets a full line of walk-behind, wheeled lawn trimmers for U.S. and international markets. Based in Utica, N.Y., Trim-A-Lawn holds fifteen design and utility patents for its products and is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Trim-A-Lawn products are available at such companies as Wal-Mart, Menards, Meijers, Blains, Ace Hardware and TruServe Corporation.
