ROSWELL, Ga. – Turf Masters Lawn Care, a provider of lawn care services in the southeast, has created new roles and made internal promotions.
Matt Crowley was promoted to director of talent acquisition and development, a newly created role in the organization, while Andy Ferrell was promoted to regional sales manager.
Crowley will focus his time on building pipelines for current and future job openings, and leading all sourcing strategies in this newly created position at the company. He will manage the company’s external partnerships with colleges, job boards and human resource software vendors, and participate in and host recruitment events to Turf Masters brand awareness.
Crowley has almost 19 years in the lawn care industry and joined Turf Masters in 2017. Prior to Turf Masters, he was a sales representative, sales manager, general manager and district sales manager at Scotts Lawn Service and TruGreen.
“As we continue to grow, it is important that we have a network of potential future hires in all positions across all our markets, current and future,” said Brian Butler, president of Turf Masters Lawn Care. “I look forward to Matt's success in his new role and recruiting top talent to join our team.”
In his new role as regional sales manager, Ferrell will provide sales support to Chip Tovey, director of sales, and help ensure that the weekly, monthly and annual sales budgets are met or exceeded. He will oversee other budgeted and non-budgeted metrics, such as new sale cancel rates, call-ahead percentages and discounts, to ensure goals are met or improved. Ferrell will also assist in recruiting to meet sales staffing needs and provide training coaching and leadership to OSRs and branch managers.
Ferrell started with Turf Masters in March 2018 as branch manager of the Greenville, South Carolina branch, bringing almost 10 years of experience in the lawn care business. Prior to Turf Masters, he held multiple positions in operations, sales, sales management and business development with TruGreen Limited Partnership in Columbia and Greenville, South Carolina.
“I am confident Andy will succeed in his new role of supporting our sales team, branch managers and Chip, and driving our company to sales success,” Butler said.
John Coppola, who has 30 years of experience in the industry, replaces Ferrell as branch manager for the Greenville location.
